Return & Refund Policy
1. Return Window
You have 30 days from the day you receive your order to return items to us. After this period, we unfortunately cannot accept returns.
2. Condition of Goods
To be eligible for a return, items must be unused, in their original condition, and with all original tags and accessories included. We recommend returning items in their original packaging to ensure they are protected during transit.
3. Order Cancellation
We understand that plans can change. Therefore, we offer a dedicated cancellation window:
- Before Shipping: If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us at contact@dowlingshoes.com within 24 hours of placing it. If the order has not yet been processed or dispatched, we will cancel it and issue a full refund immediately.
- After Shipping: If your order has already been handed over to the carrier, we cannot cancel it. In this case, you will need to receive the package and follow our standard return process.
4. Return Shipping Costs
- Change of Mind (Widerruf, wrong size, etc.): The cost of the return shipping is borne by the customer. You are responsible for organizing and paying for the return. We do not provide pre-paid labels for personal reasons and recommend using a trackable shipping service.
- Defective or Incorrect Products: No cost to the customer (€0.00). This applies if the product is wrong, damaged by the carrier, or otherwise defective. In these cases, we will provide a pre-paid return label via email and cover all return shipping costs.
5. No Restocking Fees
We do not charge any restocking fees for returns. You will receive a refund of the full purchase price.
6. Refund Process
- Inspection: Once we receive your return, our team will inspect the item to ensure it meets our return conditions.
- Timeline: After approval, your refund will be processed back to your original payment method via Stripe. Please allow up to 7 business days for the refund to be visible in your account.
- Amount: We refund the full purchase price, including the original standard shipping costs.
7. Exchanges
We are happy to offer exchanges for all items. If you would like to exchange your product for a different size or model, please contact our support team first.
- The customer pays for the return shipping to our warehouse.
- Dowling will cover the shipping costs for the new replacement item sent to you once your return has been inspected.

2. Delivery Timeline
All timeframes below refer to business days (Monday to Friday, excluding Irish public holidays).
- Order Cut-off Time: 5:00 PM (GMT). Orders received after this time will be processed on the following business day.
- Handling Time: 1-2 business days (Monday – Friday). This is the time required to prepare and pack your order.
- Transit Time: 7-8 business days (Monday – Friday).
- Estimated Total Delivery Time: You can expect to receive your package within 8 to 10 business days.
3. Logistics Partners
To ensure your order arrives safely and efficiently, we collaborate with leading delivery providers. Depending on your location and package size, we ship via: An Post, DPD, or DHL.
4. Shipping Costs & Taxes
- Shipping Fees: We provide 100% Free Shipping on all orders.
- Pricing Transparency: All prices on our website include VAT where applicable. The total shown at checkout is final, with no hidden delivery charges or additional taxes for orders within Ireland.
5. Order Tracking
Once your order has been dispatched from our warehouse, we will send you a confirmation email containing your tracking number. You can use this number to monitor the status of your delivery directly on our website or through the carrier’s portal.
6. Delivery Issues

We will work closely with the carrier to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Note: Any reports of missing packages must be made within 7 days of the estimated delivery date.
