1. Accepted Payment Methods

To ensure a secure and smooth checkout experience, we use Stripe as our primary payment gateway. Through Stripe, we accept the following payment methods:

  • Credit & Debit Cards: Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.

  • Digital Wallets: Apple Pay and Google Pay.

  • Local Options: Any additional local payment methods supported by Stripe in Ireland.

All transactions are processed in Euros (€).

2. Payment Processing

  • Full payment is due at the time of purchase.

  • Orders will only be processed and dispatched once payment has been successfully confirmed and authorized by Stripe.

  • If a payment is declined or fails, the order will not be confirmed and will be automatically cancelled.

3. Pricing.

  • All prices listed on our website are in Euros (€).

  • Shipping: We offer Free Standard Shipping on all orders within Ireland, so no additional delivery fees will be added at checkout.

4. Billing Security

Dowling prioritizes the security of your financial data:

  • Our website uses SSL encryption to protect your information during the checkout process.

  • No Data Storage: We do not store your credit card or sensitive financial details on our servers. All payment data is handled directly by Stripe in compliance with PCI-DSS security standards.

5. Refunds and Chargebacks

  • Refunds are issued in accordance with our Refund & Return Policy.

  • Approved refunds will be credited back to the original payment method used via Stripe.

  • Chargebacks: We encourage customers to contact us first at contact@dowlingshoes.com to resolve any billing discrepancies. Unauthorized or fraudulent chargebacks will be legally investigated and contested.

6. Fraud Prevention

  • Dowling and Stripe monitor transactions for suspicious or fraudulent activity.

  • We reserve the right to cancel or hold any order that is flagged as potentially fraudulent.

  • For high-value transactions, we may request additional identity verification before shipping your order.
